Mommas Rewriting Their Story
I haven’t met a working mom who hasn’t felt some level of anxiety – balancing a career, motherhood and the rest of life is hard.
Maybe you’ve thought or felt…
- I’m responsible for everything
- I don’t have enough time to do it all
- What do I do next in my business
- Am I really good enough to do this
- I’m not good at [fill in the blank]
- Being a mom and a business owner is lonely
- I’m overwhelmed
I’ve learned that what you feel doesn’t define who you are or what you are capable of.
Hi,
I’m Natalie!
I established Anxious Mommas to actively support you in mastering your mindset, owning your worth, building your business, and living your best life.
I’m a mother, entrepreneur, coach, and recovering perfectionist. I’m all about rewiring your thinking for success and arming you with the tools and techniques that get results. Loving your life and what you do? It’s what I’m all about.
It took me a while to get there though…
My Story
Before my boys were born, work and perfectionism were a way to mask my anxiety and feel successful.
That all changed when my first son was born. With a mother who struggled with chronic depression, I was expecting and ready for the baby blues and then some. It never came. Instead, I experienced post-partum anxiety. It was an emotional rollercoaster, but with the support and therapy, I recovered. But the cat was out of the bag.
For the first time, I saw that I had used work and success as my measure of value.
When I had my second son, I made massive life changes. I took a job that moved my family to Costa Rica. Thinking, less work and a beautiful location were the fix I was searching for. I worked harder than ever, still trying to prove my worth. As it turns out, you take “you with you” no matter where you go.
I had an amazing coach during this time, and it was an experience that changed my life. For the first time, I had clarity about what I wanted for my life, and what it would take to get there. I had to shift my mindset, beliefs, and the patterns that kept me stuck. I had to be willing to reconnect with who I was, not the “me” that everyone else expected.
With 20+ years of experience building businesses, it was time I built my own. I started my firm, BeyondFA, a business coaching firm for financial advisors. Still, there was an itch for something more.
Enter Anxious Mommas.
I founded Anxious Mommas because I am one – a successful entrepreneur who craved a supportive space where we could drop the facades, be authentic, and align with our true desires—building both the business and life we want.
That’s my story. What’s yours?
