Hi, I’m Natalie!
I’m a mother, entrepreneur, anxious mommas coach, and recovering perfectionist. I’m on a mission to help other anxious mommas do anything, be anything, learn anything, and achieve anything.
Mommas Rewriting Their Story
I haven’t met a working mom who hasn’t felt some level of anxiety – balancing a career, motherhood and the rest of life is hard. Luckily, I’ve learned that what you feel doesn’t define who you are or what you are capable of. It’s been years in the making, but I founded Anxious Mommas to provide education, support, and coaching so you can master your mindset, own your worth, build your business, and live your best life.
My Story
Before my boys were born, work and perfectionism were a way to mask my anxiety. That changed when my first son was born. I was prepared for post-partum depression but not post-partum anxiety. It was an emotional rollercoaster, but I hired a therapist to help me. While things did improve, I still felt overwhelmed, anxious, and unclear about who I wanted to be.
Three years later, I had my second son. This time around, I made some massive life changes. I took a job that moved my family to Costa Rica. I thought that less work and a beautiful location would be the fix I was searching for, but I was more anxious than before. As it turns out, you take “you with you” no matter where you go.
During that time, I worked for a great company that hired a coach to work with me. It was an experience that changed my life. For the first time, I had clarity about what I wanted for my life, and what it was going to take to get there. I had to shift my mindset, beliefs, and the patterns that kept me stuck. I had to be willing to reconnect with who I really was, not with the “me” that everyone else expected.
The Transformation – Enter: Anxious Mommas.
I quit my job and started my first company – right when COVID hit. I spent over a year becoming a Certified Coach and started working to build Anxious Mommas Coaching. I started Anxious Mommas because I am one. I know what it’s like to try to balance it all, only to feel like you’re failing. My goal is to help working moms work to rewrite the narrative and reimagine a life you’re excited about. To learn more about us, reach out to connect.
That’s my story. What’s yours?
